Why MELAT?MELAT (Middle East Legal & Administrative Training Centre) has established a wide variety of courses aimed at a range of target audiences. MELAT's focus markets are Middle East, Australia, England & Germany. Courses are instructed by an experienced lawyer with practical legal experience in both Europe/Australia and the Middle East. Our instructors have lived and worked in this region for a minimum of three (3) years and are familiar with the practice and theory of laws in the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries. MELAT is owned by Leith Hoffensetz, an Australian lawyer with over 17 years experience in real estate, property, retail and hospitality experience. Leith is married to an Emirati and is familiar with the every day way of life in an Islamic country. Leith has worked as in-house legal consultant for some 8 years and is familiar with the commercial approach adopted by businesses in the Middle East and is able to offer practical advice on life in the Middle East.
